Q How do I get a GBC Debit Card?

Debit cards are issued at account opening for GBC checking accounts. To order a debit card if you don't have one, please call us at 866.711.4530 or visit your local branch.

Q How do I activate my debit card?

A

Call 866.633.5293. For security purposes, you must call from the phone number associated with your card and follow the prompts.

Q How do I change my PIN

A

If you know your PIN, you can change it at any GBC ATM. If not, please visit your local GBC branch and we will provide assistance.

Q How do I set Alerts?

A

Open the GBC Mobile Banking App and select "More" at the bottom of the screen. Tap "Alerts" on the menu to select your options. You will receive real time alerts based on your selected preferences.

Q What is Card Controls?

A

Card Controls is a convenient and secure feature available in our Mobile Banking App that allows you to turn your debit card On or Off. Just open the app and select "More" at the bottom of the screen.

Q Can I turn my debit card off and on?

A

Yes, by using Card Controls in the GBC Mobile App.

Q Will recurring charges still go through if I have my debit card turned off?

No

Q Which ATMs can I use my GBC debit card surcharge-free?

Any GBC ATM/VTM located at each branch. Or, you can use your debit card at any Publix Presto! ATM without being charged a fee.

Q Will my debit card work when I am traveling?

Please give us a call at 866.711.4530 before you leave. We can set a travel notice so your debit card usage is without interruption. You can also manage your usage through Card Controls.

Q How do I report lost/stolen cards?

A

During business hours, please call our Customer Care Center at 866.711.4530. After hours, please call 1.800.500.1044.

Q What if I don't recognize a transaction on my card?

A

If it is a transaction you don't recognize, call us at 866.711.4530 or send a secure message through online banking. If it is a merchant error that you accidentally authorized, please try to resolve with the merchant first.

Q How do I increase my debit card limits?

A

Call us at 866.711.4530 and we will provide assistance.
