Treasury Solutions

Members of GBC's Treasury Solutions team spent the day volunteering at the Atlanta Community Food Bank, supporting their mission to fight hunger across 29 counties in our region. The team worked on the meal box assembly line, helping package 90,000 pounds of food—the equivalent of 75,000 meals dedicated to senior citizens who rely on consistent, nutritious support. This volunteer day reflects our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve and supporting organizations that create real, immediate impact for our neighbors. We are proud of our Treasury Solutions team for stepping up, serving together, and helping the Food Bank further its reach across Georgia.

From Banking to the Big Stage!
We're proud to share the incredible story of Cortez Sherrod, Branch Manager of our Garden Hills office, featured in CBA's Fall 2025 issue. Cortez took his passion for music all the way to The Voice stage—proving that creativity and leadership go hand in hand. His journey shows how the rhythm of music and the art of banking share the same beat: dedication, harmony, and connection. GBC Home Loans Supporting Kate's Club

GBC Home Loans is proud to support Kate's Club through our Pay It Forward initiative this holiday season. Grief can feel overwhelming and isolating—but it shouldn't. Kate's Club creates a space where children, teens, and families can find community, belonging, and hope after loss. Since 2003, this Atlanta-based nonprofit has helped more than 10,000 grieving children and young adults understand and process their grief through programs guided by the National Alliance for Children's Grief Standards of Practice. We're honored to contribute to their mission of turning grief into growth and connection.

Georgia Banking Company is proud to support educational opportunity through the Georgia Student Scholarship Organization (GASSO) program! Recently, we had the honor of presenting a check to New Heights Academy in Alpharetta — a nonprofit private school serving students with autism and other developmental abilities. This contribution helps provide scholarships for deserving students, giving families more choices and children more chances to thrive.
